Tasty Recipes to Spoil Your Pooch

Peanut Butter and Banana Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Mash the banana in a bowl. Add the peanut butter and mix well.
  2. Add the whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and cinnamon to the bowl and stir until combined.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Place the treats on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Let cool before serving to your pup!

Carrot and Apple Pupcakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 apple, peeled and grated
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded carrots, grated apple, honey, coconut oil, and egg together.
  3. Add the whole wheat flour and baking powder to the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
  4. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Let cool before serving to your pup!

Sweet Potato and Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 sweet potato, cooked and mashed
  • 1/2 cup ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the mashed sweet potato, ground turkey, grated cheese, and egg together.
  3. Add the whole wheat breadcrumbs to the mixture and stir until combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into small meatballs and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. Let cool before serving to your pup!
